Henderson, which is in the process of merging with US-listed Janus Capital Group, says its shareholders will receive an extraordinary first-quarter dividend.

Henderson shareholders will receive an extraordinary dividend when the global asset manager announces its first-quarter earnings in April.

The fund manager, which is in the process of merging with US-listed Janus Capital Group, says its shareholders will receive a payment in line with the yet-to-be-confirmed amount Janus is paying its stockholders.

Henderson will announce its full-year results and a proposed final dividend on February 9, with the 2017 first-quarter earnings announcement due on April 19.
