Putin accuses Ukraine of escalating conflict

Russian President Vladimir Putin has wrapped up a visit to Budapest in Hungary with claims that Ukraine is escalating the war there in order to draw the Trump administration into the conflict.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has wrapped up a visit to Budapest, Hungary, with claims that Ukraine is escalating the war there in order to draw the Trump administration into the conflict. 

Mr Putin has also gained backing from Hungary for an end to international sanctions against Russia.

Central European correspondent Kerry Skyring was in Budapest for the visit and spoke with Peggy Giakoumelos.
