South Korean Byeong Hun An has one-stroke lead after the third round of the Phoenix Open in Arizona which attracted a golf-record crowd of 204,906 on Saturday (Sunday AEDT).
Australia's Marc Leishman remains in the hunt after a six-under 65 moved him to 11 under and five shots off the lead.
An estimated 596,780 fans have attended the event in the first six days.
With 70,000 to 90,000 expected on Sunday in perfect warm conditions, the event will shatter the overall record of 618,365 set last year.
"It was crazy," An said.

"Last couple holes, that many people around the course is insane. Sixteen, obviously, but 17 and 18, when you walk to the green, it was absolutely packed around the green, left and right of the green, everywhere."
An, who began the day one stroke ahead of world No.5 Matsuyama, moved a step closer to a breakthrough win by shooting a six-under 65 at the TPC Scottsdale.
The 25-year-old South Korean, who won the 2009 US amateur title before turning professional in 2011, piled up six birdies in a bogey-free display to post a 16-under total of 197.
Scotland's Martin Laird sank an 11-foot birdie putt at the last for a matching 65 to sit in second place, with Matsuyama (68) a further three strokes back in a four-way tie for third.
