Zampa takes maiden 10-fer in Shield vs Qld

South Australia have been set a challenging victory target of 279 in their crucial Sheffield Shield match against Queensland at Adelaide Oval.

Adam Zampa collected his maiden 10-wicket haul in first class cricket to keep South Australia's hopes alive in their decisive Sheffield Shield match in Adelaide.

Zampa added 4-57 to his first-innings 6-62 as Queensland were dismissed for 216, setting South Australia a victory target of 279.

South Australia went into the tea break on day three at 1-47, having lost Sam Raphael for 19.

Young Queensland wicketkeeper Jimmy Peirson played an invaluable knock of 71 before being bowled by part-time spinner Travis Head.

Zampa then ran through the tail for match figures of 10-119.
