Star Greater Western Sydney AFL forward Jeremy Cameron has escaped with a fine after he was charged with striking at the weekend.
Richmond were also pleased with the AFL match review panel's assessment of the final round of pre-season games after it threw out Jack Riewoldt's match-day report.
Cameron, who missed the first four games of the 2016 season through suspension, can accept a $1000 fine for striking North Melbourne's Scott Thompson during a pre-season game.
Thompson, a defender known for getting under the skin of his opponents, was the aggressor in the incident but Cameron's round arm left-handed punch to the Kangaroo's chest saw him come under scrutiny.
However, the MRP deemed it intentional conduct with low impact to the body, resulting in a fine.

It came as little surprise when Riewoldt was cleared.
He was reported for rough conduct on Collingwood's Jackson Ramsay, but the star Tiger did little more than forcefully hold his ground in a marking contest.
Gold Coast co-captain Steven May's match day report for his bump on the Western Bulldogs' Tom Boyd was also thrown out.
In other incidents assessed by the MRP, Port Adelaide's Hamish Hartlett, North Melbourne's Jy Simpkin, Giant Toby Greene and Geelong's Mitch Duncan can all accept fines.
