How to make the Shield cricket final

A look at what each of the contenders must achieve in the final round of the Sheffield Shield to make the final.

WHAT TEAMS NEED TO DO TO MAKE THE SHEFFIELD SHIELD CRICKET FINAL AGAINST VICTORIA

*NSW (2nd, 43.01 points): Beating WA outright in Perth will likely be sufficient, but three bonus points would surely put them out of reach.

*QUEENSLAND (3rd, 40.05): Defeat Victoria in Brisbane and hope that NSW don't win. If SA also win, the Bulls have to make sure they finish within 0.45 bonus points of the Redbacks.

*SOUTH AUSTRALIA (4th, 39.99): Need to defeat Tasmania in Hobart while hoping NSW and Queensland don't achieve similar outcomes in their games. If the Bulls win as well, they will need to earn around half a bonus point more than that team.

*WESTERN AUSTRALIA (5th, 36.66): Must beat NSW outright and get 0.36 bonus points more than the Blues, while hoping SA and Queensland don't win, or pick up a lot of bonus points.
