Wests Tigers captain Aaron Woods says Mitchell Moses doesn't look like he is going to Parramatta "any time soon" judging by his manner around the NRL club.
But Woods admitted he was no closer to finding out when the Tigers would end their standoff and let Moses depart for the Eels.
The Tigers are playing hardball after Moses signed a two-year Eels deal from 2018, then asked for an immediate release.
It is believed the Tigers are not willing to grant the release unless they are given compensation.
Moses will have to wait at least another week to join the Eels after being named for the Tigers' Sunday clash with Canterbury.

Asked about Moses' future on Fox Sports' NRL 360, Woods said: "I have got no idea.
"You'd love to know.
"But I haven't spoken to anyone at our club about it."
Woods claimed he had also not spoken to Moses about the release drama but was satisfied with the feedback he had received from the star pivot.
"I asked how he was and he said 'so far I am here and I am ready to rip in' - that's all I can ask," Woods said.
"To Mitchell's credit he is being real professional about everything.
"You wouldn't think he is going to Parramatta any time soon."
Moses' immediate future may be up in the air but the Tigers have nailed down his halves partner, re-signing Luke Brooks for another two NRL seasons.
Brooks's next goal is to recover from a hamstring complaint after being named in an extended squad for the Bulldogs clash.
Now Brooks has been re-signed, the Tigers will concentrate on the rest of their Big Four - Woods and James Tedesco.
The Sydney Roosters and Bulldogs are believed to be pursuing Tedesco but it is understood the Tigers are unwilling to release the fullback until a similar replacement is found.
Canterbury is reportedly pushing hard for Woods' signature.
