Two tries from teenage centre Curtis Scott hasn't been enough to keep the Melbourne youngster in the starting line-up to face the Sydney Roosters.
For the top-of-the-table NRL clash at Adelaide Oval, Storm coach Craig Bellamy has opted for Young Tonumaipea ahead of 19-year-old Scott, who crossed twice in their one-point win over North Queensland last Saturday.
Tonumaipea will partner Queensland State of Origin centre Will Chambers.
The Storm's other teenage match-winner, halfback Brodie Croft, has also been named on the bench to make way for Cooper Cronk, who is among the five Melbourne Maroons expected to back up from Wednesday's match.
Bellamy has named a 10-man bench with playmaker Ryley Jacks the only player to drop out of the squad after suffering a groin injury during last week's win over the Cowboys.

Melbourne forward Kenny Bromwich said it was pleasing to have so much promising talent pushing for spots.
"It's good for the club to have those players who are ready to go and ready to step up," Bromwich said.
"It's probably a good headache for Craig to have that sort of competition."
The Storm still haven't included Manly recruit Nate Myles, who has been battling an elbow injury since Origin I.
The 31-year-old is expected to be in consideration for their round 17 match against Brisbane on Friday week.
"He's been training with us and is looking good," Bromwich said.
"He brings a lot of experience and is a great defender so it's great to have him on our team."
