* Result: West Coast 12.6 (78) bt Port Adelaide 10.16 (76) after extra time at Adelaide Oval

* Key moment: With less than a minute left on the clock and scores locked at 60 points apiece, the ball squirted towards Port Adelaide's goalposts. But Eric Mackenzie showed a cool head to guide it into the point post under pressure to ensure no score was registered

But ultimately it came down to a Luke Shuey shot on goal following the siren after Jared Polec took him high. Shuey was mobbed by his teammates after his shot from 40m out on a 45-degree angle went through
