Adelaide import Ramone Moore has dragged his NBL side across the line for a last-quarter comeback 90-75 win over the New Zealand Breakers.

As much as 14 points down earlier in the game on Friday, the Sixers outscored the home-team Breakers by 23 points in the fourth term to seize control with three minutes to play in Auckland.

Inspired by Moore's stunning all-round game (27 points, four rebounds, five assists) and dogged team defence, the Sixers made it back-to-back wins over the New Zealand side having also beaten them five days ago.

With 45 seconds still to play and the Sixers in control, Moore celebrated the win by feeding Nathan Sobey (13 points) for a showtime alley-oop dunk.

Alex Pledger fought hard for the Breakers, posting 12 points and seven rebounds.

Earlier, the Sixers jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the opening minutes as big man Daniel Johnson hit a hot streak.

On the other end, the Breakers' starting five struggled to put together cohesive offence and it was not until a Finn Delany-led bench brought energy to the floor that the New Zealand side pegged back the difference.

Teaming well with Shea Ili and muscling to the hoop for a power dunk, Delany (11 points, three rebounds) helped guide the Breakers to a 21-19 quarter-time lead.

The Breakers' bench continued to deliver in the second as they contributed 31 points compared with the starting five's 15 to lead the New Zealand side to a five-point lead at half-time.

Johnson continued to battle hard for the Sixers, finishing the half with 14 points.

Surviving a Breakers hot streak that extended their lead to 14 points early in the third, Moore took over scoring duties for Adelaide.

He led their fightback as they ended the quarter trailing 64-56 before taking charge of the game in the last.

Moore praised his teammates for coming back from 14 points down to grab the win.

"With a big road win, hopefully we can move forward and continue to do well," he said.
