36ers to delay Randle fitness decision

The Adelaide 36ers will delay a decision on the fitness of Jerome Randle until just before they depart on Thursday for two season-defining away games.

The Adelaide 36ers will delay a decision on injured import Jerome Randle until moments before they board a plane for their crunch NBL away games.

Randle, the league's top-scorer, has missed the past two games with a knee injury and is in doubt for Adelaide's season-defining road trips - they must beat Illawarra on Friday night and Perth on Sunday to have a chance of sneaking into the finals.

"A decision on whether Randle will play will be left until just before the team flies out on Thursday," a club spokesman said on Monday.
