Two people have been diagnosed with measles in Melbourne and visited key tourist locations.
A person who had visited New Zealand and a traveller who had been in Laos and Thailand are the latest people identified as carrying the infectious illness, Victoria's chief health officer confirmed on Tuesday.
The pair - who are unrelated to each other or previous cases - visited popular locations in Melbourne including the zoo, David Jones in the Bourke Street Mall and cafes in late September and early October.
They also caught the route 58, 86 and 96 trams as well as a Scoot Flight from Singapore
The latest cases bring the total confirmed cases of measles to 38 in 2019, according to the health department.
Almost all cases are in people who are not fully immunised against the disease, who have either travelled overseas or been in contact with travellers from overseas in Victoria.
