A Greek-Australian community group is behind an initiative to provide 3D printed prosthetic limbs to Sierra Leoneans maimed in the civil war.

The 3D prosthetics will be distributed through amputee clinics in the capital Freetown run by Father Themi Adamopoulos.

Nick Inglis is from the Australian Helenic Educational Progressive Association, or AHEPA, in Brisbane.

He's told Kristina Kukolja the project came about after a conversation with a member of the charity, Paradise Kids for Africa, which supports Father Themi's work.
