GWS Giants forward Steve Johnson is set to achieve two AFL milestones on Saturday and everyone's wondering if the flashy veteran will bring up the goalkicking one by trying something special.
Johnson will qualify for AFL life membership this week, with his 300th match due to be logged against North Melbourne in Hobart on Saturday.
Since his debut in 2002, 33-year-old Johnson has played 277 premiership games, 20 pre-season matches, one State of Origin clash and one International Rules Test.
His goalscoring tally from his AFL games alone stands at 499.
Of modern day players, only Lance Franklin and Nick Riewoldt have kicked more goals than Johnson, who has booted 47 in just over a season with GWS, after booting 452 in 14 years with Geelong.
He notched three majors in last week's club record 102-point mauling of Gold Coast, the last of which came in the opening minute of the final quarter.
Despite the best efforts of teammates and himself, Johnson couldn't bag the milestone goal, kicking a behind for the final score of the lopsided game.
"I'm sure the forwards were trying to maybe get him one," Giants' defender Adam Kennedy told AAP.
"But knowing Stevie he wouldn't want just an easy goal to get it up.
"He likes the tricky goals and the ones he has to work for, so hopefully that milestone can come now and it's a great achievement."
Johnson's flair and knack for the flamboyant means Kennedy like everyone else is guessing what Stevie J might produce for his milestone goal.
"That's the best thing about Stevie. His whole career has been entertaining, so however he gets it (the 500th goal), who knows?
"It could be from the boundary, it could be anything."
Johnson only failed to kick a goal in three matches last year and averages more than one a game, so the odds are he will attain the landmark this weekend when he plays his first game in Tasmania.
"Stevie is a unique character, he could rock up at any ground as long as there's four goalposts and he'll just do his thing," Kennedy said.
