A koala walked into a bar ... no, seriously. And the bartender hopes he's coming back because he's good for business.
Kevin Martin, who works at the Marlin Bar on Queensland's Magnetic Island, was stunned a wild male koala wandered inside just after 8pm.
"He sauntered up to the bar ... I asked him for ID and he got all disgruntled ... walked around the bar and then climbed up a pole and sulked," Mr Martin told AAP.
"We have a big stuffed Marlin on the roof and he just sat under the Marlin in front of the speaker, listening to the music.
"He fell asleep."

Mr Martin said it was a rainy night and the cute critter might have been trying to get out of the wet.
He's now back in the wild after rangers were called to set him free, but the bartender hopes he might drop in again sometime.
His visit was great for business, with backpackers calling their friends at the hostel to come and have a look.
"The little feller's welcome back anytime," Mr Martin said.
"Everyone was taking photos, they thought it was funny.
"If we could tee him up on a weekly basis it would be great."
Magnetic Island has one of the largest koala populations in Australia.
