Prime Minister-elect Tony Abbott and his ministry will be officially sworn in midweek.

Governor-General Quentin Bryce will swear in Mr Abbott, his ministerial team and parliamentary secretaries at a ceremony at Government House in Canberra starting at 10.20am (AEST) on Wednesday.

Mr Abbott unveiled his ministerial line-up on Monday, revealing the only woman in his cabinet is Foreign Affairs Minister Julie Bishop.
