Tony Abbott, MP for Warringah, has started moving in to his new Parliament House office.

The former prime minister, ousted by Malcolm Turnbull in a Liberal party room ballot on September 14, now has a ground-floor backbencher's suite.

Staff were busy on Thursday moving in furnishings, including a portrait of the Queen.
