Abbott's multicultural policy 'lacks direction': Outgoing FECCA chair

The Abbott government's multicultural policy is directionless and the lack of a dedicated minister is insulting, says the outgoing chair of the Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia (FECCA).

FECCA held its biennial conference on the Gold Coast this week with about 500 delegates from around Australia and will elect a new head on Saturday.

Stefan Armbruster spoke with Pino Migliorino about the state of multicultural affairs and the highlights of his term as FECCA's chair.
