Aboriginal hostel closes doors

NITV News has learned that another Aboriginal hostel has closed its doors. The Roy Thorne Hostel in Moree was shut down at the end of October.

It will be the sixth service that has been forced to close this year.

Aboriginal Hostels have served Indigenous Australians for decades.

Five out of the 54 hostels will close their doors at the end of the year. All of their guests have already vacated.
