There are hopes that a new learning centre in the isolated Aboriginal township of Willowra in the Northern Territory will provide a model example of community involvement in education.

Traditional Warlpiri land owners from the Central Australian region, through the Warlpiri Education and Training Trust, or WETT, have contributed $600,000 worth of mining royalty money towards the project.
