Abrams, who's the director and producer of the two and a half hour epic is also set to take on one of the latest installments of the Star Wars series.
"The key for me with everything and this is the true answer is to try as hard as I can to not look at it from the outside in," said Abrams.
He also said he tried to keep telling the story to himself and avoided looking at it from the fan's point of view.

The film is expected to be the biggest blockbuster of the year and is to premiere in London tomorrow.
