Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is being urged to release three secret documents around the Essendon supplements saga that led to lengthy bans for 34 AFL players.
Independent senator John Madigan has requested access to ASADA's final report on the Bombers, former Federal Court judge Garry Downes' review of the investigation, and the complete report of the Australian Crime Commission - part of which was released on the so-called `blackest day' in February 2013.
"Significant questions hang over this issue that legitimately demand the scrutiny of the parliament," Senator Madigan said in a statement on Friday.
