Accused knifepoint robber arrested in Syd

A man has been charged with robbery and deception offences after he allegedly robbed a man at knifepoint in Sydney.

A man accused of robbing another man at knifepoint and later using his credit cards has been arrested.

The victim, a 22-year-old, was frisked by four men and had his wallet, mobile phone and bag stolen before being threatened with a knife at Campsie in September.

It was later discovered the man's credit cards had been used to make a number of purchases.

A 20-year-old Telopea man was arrested on Saturday and charged with robbery and obtaining property by deception.

He was refused bail and is due to face Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
