Act on donations at G20, Labor tells PM

Barnaby Joyce says it's worthwhile having a discussion about political donation reform.

Acting Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce says there is merit in considering reforms any party has on political donation laws.

Mr Joyce, demanding Labor senator Sam Dastyari be stood aside or sacked over the Chinese donations controversy, says he believes in transparency.

"We're open for all logical discussions any party might have into the future," he told reporters in Brisbane on Monday.
