Two of the AFL's Indigenous stars have launched a new children's book about the Stolen Generations.

Sydney Swan and former Australian of the Year Adam Goodes and his cousin and former teammate Michael O'Loughlin, today shared "Stories for Simon" with school children at Claremont College in Sydney.

'Stories for Simon', written by Lisa Miranda Sarzin and illustrated by Lauren Briggs, explains the meaning of the national apology.

Michael and Adam plan to have the book in every school across the country, and ultimately aim to have it included in the national curriculum.

They have urged all families to read the book together.

All profits from the sale of the book will go the Goodes O'Loughlin Foundation (GO Foundation) which provides educational scholarships for Indigenous girls and boys.
