Australian comedian Adam Hills will play for Warrington's physical disability team against South Sydney in the inaugural Physical Disability Rugby League World Club Challenge in Sydney.

The match will be played at ANZ Stadium on August 30, as a curtain-raiser to the NRL fixture between the Rabbitohs and Wests Tigers.

Hills, who wears a prosthesis after being born without a right foot, has played a key role in the rise of disability rugby league in the UK and appeared in the first PDRL game between Warrington and Leeds in February.

"Playing physical disability rugby league has been one of the best experiences of my life," Hills said.

"I'm really excited to show off Australia to my team-mates and show off PDRL to a wider audience."

Souths general manager of football Shane Richardson said: "The players in the Physical Disability Rugby League are an inspiration to us all.

"They continue to play the game they love, at all ages and abilities, and the games are always well supported by our members and fans when they play curtain raisers to our NRL fixtures."
