Adelaide's Brown out for two months in AFL

Adelaide defender Luke Brown is to have ankle surgery and will be sidelined from AFL action for the next two months.

Adelaide backman Luke Brown will miss at least the first five weeks of the AFL season because of an ankle injury.

Brown will soon have surgery on his left ankle after a tendon injury flared again when he recently returned to full pre-season training.

The Crows say Brown will be sidelined for up to two months - their premiership season opens against Hawthorn on March 23.
