Fairfax newspapers report the ADF received a complaint eight months ago about a Facebook page, which had allegedly been created to expose and intimidate homosexuals in the force.

However the investigation into the social networking page and the dozens of personnel who signed on as "friends" has since been shelved, and no one has been punished.

The page is believed to have been taken down, and allegedly had links to violent videos on YouTube.
