Adidas chairman Herbert Hainer does not rule out an end to the company's sponsorship of FIFA if soccer's world governing body does not reform itself.
Hainer told the Handelsblatt newspaper that FIFA was "on the right course" to reforms.
Adidas, which has agreement with FIFA until 2030, would continue its partnership if reforms were accomplished. If not "we would consider what the alternatives are", he said.
The sports goods company is a long-standing partner of FIFA, having supplied the World Cup match ball at every tournament since 1970, and last year extended the sponsorship deal.
FIFA has been hit by various corruption charges and president Sepp Blatter - currently suspended by the organisation's ethics committee - is stepping down in February.

Adidas declined to join other sponsors such as Coca-Cola and Visa in calling for Blatter's immediate resignation in summer, but did say reform was needed.
Hainer said he did not believe his company would be dragged into investigations by prosecuting authorities against several former and present leading FIFA executives, including the Blatter.
Hainer said all contracts had been examined and "I can say with a clear conscience that we are clean".
