Afghanistan have doubled down on their first T20 series win over Bangladesh by completing a whitewash in a thrilling final match in Dehradun.

Afghanistan have completed a 3-0 T20 series victory over Bangladesh by winning a thrilling final match by one run in Dehradun, in India's north.

Bangladesh's Mahmudullah was run out for 45 on the last delivery of the match to leave his side on 6-144 as they chased Afghanistan's total of 6-145.

Afghanistan, who clinched the first T20 series between the two countries with a six-wicket win on Tuesday, appeared odds-on to seal victory with two overs remaining, but Bangladesh's Mushfiqur Rahim struck 21 runs in the penultimate over to set up a nail-biting finish.
