AFL MRP offers Port ruckman one-week ban

Port Adelaide's Paddy Ryder can accept a one-week AFL suspension for his off-the-ball hit on Adelaide's Riley Knight.

Port Adelaide ruckman Paddy Ryder has been offered a one-week ban by the AFL match review panel for his off-the-ball hit on Adelaide's Riley Knight.

Ryder clashed with the Crows forward with just more than two minutes left in Saturday night's fiery local derby at Adelaide Oval, with Knight signalling to a trainer he had suffered a blow to the jaw.

Adelaide's Charlie Cameron, North Melbourne's Kayne Turner, Greater Western Sydney's Shane Mumford and Gold Coast midfielder Jarryd Lyons can all accept fines.
