Fremantle veteran Zac Dawson is the only AFL player facing suspension following round 19, having been offered a three-match ban.

Dawson was reported for rough conduct during the Dockers' 90-point loss to Sydney in Perth, where he ignored the ball and collected Jake Lloyd high, as the Swans youngster was falling.

The match review panel judged it to be "careless conduct with high impact to the head".

Most players could have escaped with a two-game ban but Dawson's poor record in the past two years meant that wasn't possible.

The 30-year-old defender will be slapped with a season-ending ban of four weeks if he contests the charge at the tribunal and loses.

The Dockers face West Coast, Adelaide, Greater Western Sydney and Western Bulldogs in the final stretch of what has been an underwhelming season.

North Melbourne's Jed Anderson, Collingwood youngster Jonathon Marsh, Port Adelaide utility Jackson Trengove and Brisbane pair Josh Walker and Nick Robertson were all charged on Monday.

But the quintet can escape with $1000 fines if they submit early pleas.

The match review panel assessed an incident involving Mitch Duncan last Friday night but cleared the Geelong midfielder.

Duncan tackled Western Bulldogs' Caleb Daniel to the ground while umpires called for play to stop, having awarded a free kick to Lachie Hunter.

"It was the view of the panel there was insufficient forceful high contact," the match review panel observed in its weekly statement.
