Adelaide linchpin Erin Phillips has won another accolade as the AFLW's best player - but all she really wants is another premiership medal.

Phillips has won the AFLW's Coaches Association player of the year award for another standout season.

She also won the league's best and fairest award in the inaugural 2017 season and the players' association MVP award the same year.

The 33-year-old appreciates all the gongs but says she's solely focused on Adelaide's quest to win this season's premiership.

The Crows open their finals campaign with a preliminary final against Geelong on Sunday.

"It's really nice to get recognised ... but for me, it's just about winning premierships," Phillips told reporters on Wednesday.

"Individual awards, I always say, are an extension of the team's performance.

"I feel very lucky. But the bigger prize is the premiership."

Phillips won the best-afield medal in Adelaide's 2017 grand final triumph.

But her 2018 season was cruelled by a thigh injury, coinciding with Adelaide's slide to fifth spot on the ladder.

"Last year was incredibly frustrating," she said.

"I have had a much better preparation coming into this season and I have just loved being able to go out and play not having to think about my quad or how is the body going to hold up.

"I am just playing good footy in a great team ... the development of our team has just been astronomical and it has been so much fun to play with this group."
