The Australian Federal Police are getting into the Christmas spirit with their very own Christmas carol.

Covering '12 Days of Christmas', the Christmas video recounts some of the AFP's most memorable drug busts of 2017.

Meth in protein powder, ephedrine in sea salt and cocaine in cocoa powder all make the list.

Naturally, the carol is accompanied by imagery of the busts.

At the end of the video, the AFP calls on viewers to call up 'Santa's naughty hotline' with any information about any potential illegal activity.

The video was launched on the AFP's social media and has been watched over 160 000 times on Facebook and Twitter.
