AHAlife's first acquisition will boost the online retailer's number of registered users by about 30 per cent.
The retailer of "curated luxury products" has acquired US online design marketplace Bezar.com in return for about 500,000 AHAlife shares - worth about $US200,000.
Bezar.com has about 150,000 registered users, taking the combined group to 609,000 registered users.
"This transaction represents a rapid and highly cost effective customer acquisition strategy that has the potential to have an immediate impact on our business," AHAlife co-founder and president Sachin Devand said.
"This acquisition is fully aligned with our strategy for 2016 to gain market share and grow rapidly while building a highly loyal and engaged user base."

Bezar.com launched in March 2015, promoting designers and creative entrepreneurs.
AHAlife is based in New York but is listed on the Australian share market.
Its shares dropped 1.5 cents at 52 cents.
