Labor leadership aspirant Anthony Albanese will visit three cities in three days and has launched a website in a bid to take the party's top job.
Nominations for the leadership close on Thursday, with grassroots members of the ALP getting a 50 per cent say for the first time in the party's history.
Frontbencher Bill Shorten is also contesting the ballot.
The website, Albo for Leader, pitches the outgoing former deputy prime minister as the "son of a single mum who grew up in council housing in Camperdown".
"I have seen first-hand why we must fight for Labor policies - and I've fought for them my whole life," he says on the site.

The website also seeks volunteers to encourage ALP members to vote in the ballot and help at events.
Mr Albanese will address a meeting at Sydney's Trades Hall on Tuesday night, before heading to Brisbane on Wednesday and Melbourne on Thursday.
Betting agency sportsbet.com.au on Tuesday had Mr Albanese's odds at $1.20 and Bill Shorten on $4. Sportingbet had Mr Albanese on $1.28 and Mr Shorten on $3.50.
The ALP members ballot will open on September 24 and close on October 9.
Federal caucus members will meet at 4pm (AEST) on October 10 to cast their ballots and the final result will be announced on October 13.
