The congresswomen-elect will join the 116th Congress as new members on Thursday.
Each of the group made history at the November 2018 midterms, where the Democrats swept to power in the House of Representatives.

At 29 years old, Ms Ocasio-Cortez was the youngest woman ever to be elected to Congress.
The New Yorker is a self-described "democratic socialist", supporting progressive policies such as universal healthcare, tuition-free public university and gun control.
Ms Pressley will become Massachusetts' first black congresswoman, Ms Omar is set to be one of the first Muslim women in Congress, Ms Haaland and Ms Davids will be the first Indigenous women in Congress, and Ms Escobar was one of the first Hispanic women Texas has elected to federal office.

Ms Ocasio-Cortez's Instagram followers embraced the photo.

Referring to Thursday's swearing-in another said, "tomorrow feels more like Christmas to me, than actual Christmas. #changeiscoming."
