Melbourne Heart has confirmed the signing of iconic ex-Socceroos striker John Aloisi on a one-year deal, with the marksman set to take up a development role at the club after his playing stint.
Coach of the A-League's newest club, Jon van't Schip, was very happy to be playing with the former Sydney FC frontman.
"Life can be very strange. I worked with John while he was a young boy trying out at Genoa and we established a very good relationship, so to be working with him again hows how interesting the world of football is," Van't Schip said.
Heart also unveiled its inaugural playing strip, featuring red and white stripes.
