US actress Amanda Seyfried has landed the female lead in the Ted sequel.

The Les Miserables actress will star alongside Mark Wahlberg in the follow-up film about a man and his foul-mouthed childhood teddy bear, according to Deadline.com.

Mila Kunis played Wahlberg's love interest in the 2012 hit movie, but it is not yet known if she will make appearance in the sequel.

Ted 2 is set to hit theatres next year.
