Angry fans plan MKR final boycott

My Kitchen Rules is facing a social media backlash by fans who say they'll boycott the final because of rigging and bullying.

Angry My Kitchen Rules fans plan to boycott the popular reality television show's grand final to protest against what they say is bullying and rigging.

The fans have accused Channel 7 of rigging the program and the West Australian finalists of bullying other contestants.

The episode has sparked a viewer backlash with at least 500 people liking a Facebook page named "Boycott MKR Grand Final".

In last night's episode of MKR, watched by more than two million viewers, WA cooks Chloe and Kelly beat popular Queensland dads Paul Bullpitt and Blair Tonkin by just one point.

That win set them up for a grand final place against their South Australian rivals Jessica and Bree.

During the show the WA team was shown making critical comments against the South Australians, laughing when mistakes were made and saying Jessica and Bree had "one brain between them".

Stephen Vasily is one fan who will be turning his TV off Channel 7 on Tuesday night.

"I saw this program tonight and could not believe the intimidation by Chloe and Kelly towards the twins," he wrote on the boycott page.

"I have hurried home for the last few weeks to ensure I watched this program. But after what I saw tonight, I was shocked that it went to air. And I regret that I ever did watch MKR. I hope this program finishes and becomes axed."

Others took to Twitter to claim the show was rigged from the beginning to make sure the rival female teams lasted all the way to the end.

"I'm not even guna bother watching #mkr after last nights results. It's obviously rigged. Absolute disgrace, take the Logie back!" JessKimoo tweeted.

* My Kitchen Rules finale will screen at 7.30pm on Tuesday on the Seven Network
