Ankara authorities have banned public gatherings in the Turkish capital until the end of November due to a terrorism alert.
A statement by the provincial governor's office late on Monday said the ban included public performances and was in force in Ankara and the entire province.
The ban came in response to intelligence pointing to a potential fresh terrorist attack. No details were disclosed.
The governor cited the state of emergency that was imposed for 90 days following an attempted coup in July and renewed by the parliament last week.
A group of soldiers attempted to take over the government in mid-July but were beaten back after a night of fighting.
The government has accused supporters of the cleric Fethullah Gulen, who lives in self-imposed exile in the US, of organising the coup.
Gulen denies any involvement but Turkey is seeking his extradition.
