Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says she's concerned to hear anti-vaxxer parents are organising their own underground childcare centres.

Anti-vaccination proponents in NSW and Queensland are reported to be seeking to set up their own childcare centres as "no jab, no pay" laws come into force in January.

Ms Palaszczuk slammed the move, saying the health benefits of vaccinations were obvious.

"I am very concerned, those reports were quite alarming," she said.

"I urge parents to continue up with their vaccination rates."

Federal Treasurer Scott Morrison told 2GB radio on Monday he understood the move to be illegal, at least in NSW, and the proponents "are not getting their government money".
