Anything possible for surging Dees in AFL

Melbourne's AFL premiership credentials will be put to the test over the next fortnight with tough clashes against West Coast and Sydney.

Melbourne co-captain Jack Viney believes anything's possible for the Demons if they can continue their excellent AFL form.

The Dees have climbed from 11th on the ladder to fifth over the past month, stamping their premiership credentials with a 57-point thrashing of the Western Bulldogs on Sunday.

"You look at the ladder at the moment and the competition's so close ... you could lose one or two and find yourself down towards the bottom, or up the top," Viney said on Monday.
