ANZ deputy CEO Hodges to retire in May

ANZ Bank says deputy chief executive Graham Hodges will retire in early May after a 27-year career with the lender.

ANZ deputy chief executive Graham Hodges will retire in May after almost three decades with the banking giant.

Mr Hodges has held his current role since 2009 and served in a number of senior roles including chief economist and chief executive of the bank's New Zealand arm.

Chief executive Shayne Elliott says Mr Hodges has made a significant contribution since joining in 1991, working across many portfolios and mentoring the bank's next generation of leaders.
