Cadets have marched with the Australian flag at the start of the Anzac commemoration ceremony at Sydney's Hyde Park.

The service, held at the park's Anzac memorial, is one of numerous events around the city on Monday.

"Let us mourn with pride, but let us also remember with equal pride, those who served and still live," RSL NSW state president Rod White said in the ceremony's prologue.
