An AOL creative director was given the boot in a very public way, when he was fired over a conference call.
Over 1000 employees were listening in when AOL CEO Tim Armstrong told creative director Abel Lenz: "You're fired. Out."
CNN reports that the conference call was set up to lay out company lay-offs and cut backs, but when Lenz tried to take a photo of his now former CEO he got an abrupt send off.
"Abel, put that camera down now, right now. Abel, you're fired. Out."
After he was fired, Lenz Tweeted 'no comment'.
