Behind a heavy roller door at the end of a dark industrial estate in Western Sydney, one of Australia's emerging Arabic-speaking communities is being shaped with hip-hop amongst pool tables and pizza.

“A church bombed, Mubarak said he didn't do it, Hell, he has a Christian on his staff he prove it..” rhymes a young hip hop artist who goes by the tag “Coptic Soldier”.

The Coptic Christian Australian-Egyptian youth who gather at this Exodus Youth Worx warehouse are concerned about the turmoil in their home country and possible marginalisation under rising Islamist power.

They, like the centre's youth worker George Nawar, think that there will be precisely just that: an exodus of Copts to Australia.

“Will there be more Coptic Christians in Australia?”

“Depending on the elections and events in Egypt, I think absolutely.” He said.
