The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Achievement awards, The Deadlys, took place at the Sydney Opera House.
The event kicked off with a sunset ceremony and a showcase of Indigenous designers modelled by up-and-coming talent.
Street Warriors were nominated Band of the Year, while Stik n Move picked up Most Outstanding New Talent.
Jessica Mauboy won Single Release of the Year with Something’s Got a Hold on Me, as well as Female Artist of the Year.
A special tribute was paid to musician and former Australian of the Year Dr Yunupingu by his grandson's band, East Journey.
