Are the underdogs ruining this World Cup?

With some of the World Cup favourites now out of the tournament in South Africa, it begs the question about the mindset from sides like France and Italy. Despite playing out the decider in 2006 these sides are now going home after the first round. Are you happy with the results? Are some of these European players burnt out, too club-focused or just plain lazy?
