Saudi Arabia
The Green Falcons announced an all-domestic 23-man squad for the World Cup and broke the news on social media with a fun video.
The video showed the news of each player being announced and passed on by word of mouth through coffee shops, offices and football pitches.
Saudi Arabia hasn't appeared in a World Cup since Germany 2006 and face hosts Russia, Egypt and Uruguay in group A.
Spain
Spain's coach Julen Lopetegui announced his talented squad through a mock-up of a WhatsApp group conversation.
The coach can be seen in his office adding players to the WhatsApp group, representing their ticket to Russia.
Peru
Peru hasn't been at the World Cup for 36 years. While their squad announcement was pretty straightforward, they sent a special video to their opponents in Group C, which includes Australia.
"Dear Australia, we are back. See you on the field," the video tells the Socceroos.
England
The most unique squad announcement came from the Three Lions. The video was viewed more than 3.5 million times on Twitter and featured young fans introducing players one by one.
France
France matched opponents Peru with an emotional call to action aimed at all French football fans.
